Bark Inc (NYSE: BARK) is a consumer pet products company that designs, develops, and sells dog toys, accessories, consumables, and services under the BARK brand. Revenue comes primarily from direct-to-consumer subscriptions and sales through its BarkBox and Super Chewer monthly boxes, supplemented by a retail and e-commerce commerce segment. In fiscal 2025, the DTC segment drove the majority of revenue while the commerce segment contributed $68 million, or 14.1% of total revenue, through over 50,000 retail doors including Target, Walmart, Kroger, Petco, and PetSmart, plus online marketplaces Amazon and Chewy. The toys and accessories category generated approximately $262.3 million in fiscal 2025, down 8% from fiscal 2024. BARK Air, a charter-based premium dog air travel service launched in April 2024, generated $5.8 million in its first fiscal year. In fiscal 2025, BARK consolidated its five DTC properties onto a single domain, Bark.co, via a migration to Shopify. The company sources the majority of its toys from China, creating exposure to import tariffs.
