About Grayscale Ethereum Classic Trust (Etc)

Grayscale Ethereum Classic Trust (ETCG) is a digital asset investment trust that holds Ethereum Classic (ETC) on behalf of shareholders, providing investors with exposure to ETC price movements without requiring direct custody of the cryptocurrency. The Trust generates revenue by charging a sponsor fee, assessed as a percentage of assets under management, which is paid by the Trust through the periodic transfer of ETC to the Sponsor. Sponsored by Grayscale Investments Sponsors, LLC, an affiliate of Digital Currency Group, Inc., the Trust had a net asset value of approximately $126.1 million as of December 31, 2025, down from $282.9 million as of December 31, 2024. The sole Authorized Participant as of October 3, 2022 is Grayscale Securities, an affiliate of the Sponsor. Peter Mintzberg serves as CEO of the Sponsor and Principal Executive Officer. The Trust is structured as a passive vehicle and does not actively trade ETC or generate operating income beyond the appreciation or depreciation of its ETC holdings.

Customers and end markets
Investors seeking regulated, securities-account-accessible exposure to Ethereum Classic; end market is digital asset investment.

Geographic exposure
