Paccar Inc (NASDAQ: PCAR) is a commercial vehicle manufacturing company that designs, manufactures, and distributes heavy-duty and medium-duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. Revenue comes primarily from truck sales, with the Truck segment accounting for 68% of revenues in FY2025 compared to 74% in FY2024, supplemented by parts distribution and financial services segments. PACCAR competes in the North American Class 6, 7, and 8 truck markets and in the European heavy and light/medium truck markets, with additional presence in Brazil and Australia. The company operates manufacturing plants in the United States (Chillicothe, Ohio; Denton, Texas; Renton, Washington), Canada, Mexico, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Brazil. Incorporated in Delaware in 1971, PACCAR traces its origins to Seattle Car Manufacturing Company, formed in 1905.
