Cash is deposited in checking and money market accounts at accredited financial institutions, which at times, may exceed federally insured limits. The short-term investment is deposited in a guaranteed certificate of deposit with an accredited financial institution that guarantees 100% of the original amount invested. Management believes that these financial institutions are financially sound, and, accordingly, minimal credit risk exists with respect to these high-quality financial institutions. As of December 31, 2022, the Company has not experienced any losses on its cash or short-term investments.</p>
