HV Bancorp, Inc. is a bank holding company, which engages in the investment in securities and owning the common stock of Huntingdon Valley Bank. The company is headquartered in Doylestown, Pennsylvania and currently employs 131 full-time employees. The company went IPO on 2017-01-12. The Company, through its wholly owned subsidiary Huntingdon Valley Bank primarily serves communities located in Montgomery, Bucks and Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania, New Castle County in Delaware, and Burlington County in New Jersey. Its principal business consists of attracting retail and investing those deposits, with funds generated from operations and borrowings, primarily in one-to-four-family residential mortgage loans, commercial real estate loans, construction loans, home equity loans and lines of credit and, to a lesser extent, consumer loans. Its segments include retail banking, mortgage banking, business banking, and the bank holding company. Its retail banking activities consist primarily of interest earned on investment securities and loans and service charges on deposit accounts. The mortgage banking segment includes residential mortgage loans which are sold into the secondary market along with the loan servicing rights.
