Founded in 1909 as a window washing company in San Francisco and incorporated in Delaware in 1985, ABM reported $8,745.9 million in total revenue for the fiscal year ended October 31, 2025. The company operates through five segments: Business & Industry ($4,126.0M, 47% of FY2025 revenue), Manufacturing & Distribution ($1,618.6M, 18.5%), Aviation ($1,118.7M, 12.8%), Education ($922.0M, 10.5%), and Technical Solutions ($960.6M, 11.0%). ABM employs approximately 113,000 persons as of the FY2025 10-K filing. CEO Scott Salmirs has held the role since March 2015.

Service contracts billed under multiple pricing structures: monthly fixed-price (fixed fee per contract term), square-foot (fixed monthly fee based on area serviced), cost-plus (reimbursement of labor, benefits, taxes, and insurance plus a profit margin), hourly (fixed rate per labor hour), transaction-price (fixed fee per transaction such as wheelchair passengers served or airplane cabins cleaned), and parking management fees (management reimbursement, leased location, or allowance arrangements). Supplemental work orders for non-recurring services such as flood cleanup and snow removal generate additional transactional revenue.

Customers & Markets

Commercial real estate and corporate offices (including high-tech clients), sports and entertainment venues, hospitals and non-acute healthcare facilities (B&I segment); manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and data centers (M&D segment, where one client represented approximately 32% of segment revenue in FY2025); airlines and airports (Aviation segment, where two clients represented approximately 27% of segment revenue in FY2025); public school districts, private schools, colleges, and universities (Education segment).

Geographic Exposure
